splash

Emily Furr's installation in the exhibition Splash at HedHi Studio, curated by Gap Gallery. These paintings are featured in a group exhibition, called Splash, by Gap Gallery, a Charleston, South Carolina based pop-up gallery. Emily's installation for this show includes two, four foot long, shaped, oil painted alligators. Emily's art often refers to her upbringing on Johns Island, South Carolina, where seeing alligators is not uncommon. The installation also features shaped cloud paintings and "magic teardrops" framing the set of paintings.
